question of improving the Postal relations between the British East Indies & the

an exchange of closed mails, had been raised modification of the by the Indian Gov

rate chargeable for British sea-portage

the correspondence contained in such closed mail, when forwarded by British Packet, had been recommended by the Postmaster General to the favourable consideration of the Treasury.
